This award recognizes top leaders (CEOs, superintendents, presidents, executive directors, headmasters) of programs serving deaf and hard of hearing students who have retired from their positions since the last CEASD annual meeting, or who will retire prior to the end of the current school year. These recipients must have at least 10 years or more service in the field working with deaf and hard of hearing students. School or program must be a member of CEASD at the time of retirement. This award may only be given once to an individual, therefore consider if this individual will be continuing work in the field post retirement prior to nominating.
