Membership Categories

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM MEMBERSHIP:	An educational program provides direct educational services
to Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students. Dues and number of voting representatives are determined by the
number of students in the program.
CEASD MEMBERSHIP YEAR MIRRORS THE TRADITIONAL SCHOOL YEAR AND MEMBERSHIP BEGINS JULY 1ST AND ENDS JUNE 30TH. MEMBERSHIP DUES ARE NEVER PRO-RATED.

NOTE:
Programs may add Associate Members (no number limit) by paying $75.00 per member in addition to the
program annual dues described above. Associate members have no voting privileges, but receive the
annual American Annals of the Deaf directory issue, mailings, and other communications, as well as
reduced registration fees for conferences.
ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT MEMBERSHIP:	An administrative unit’s program has an overall purpose to
work with individuals who are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing (e.g. teacher training programs, governmental units,
program service centers, etc.). One voting representative.		$800.00
AFFILIATE PROGRAM MEMBERSHIP:	An affiliate program is an organization interested in the
education of deaf persons which are not eligible for either the Educational Program or Administrative Unit
Memberships. No voting privileges, but may register for CEASD Conferences at reduced member
registration fee. Will receive all CEASD mailings and will have access to the CEASD member list.				$225.00
INDEPENDENT ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP:	Any interested professional may join; no voting privileges.
(Includes the annual American Annals of the Deaf directory issue, and all other CEASD mailings and
communications as well as reduced registration fees for CEASD conferences.)			$75.00
