An award recognizing CEOs (superintendents, presidents, executive directors, headmasters) of programs for the deaf/hard of hearing retired from an administrative position since the previous annual meeting, or who will retire prior to the end of the current school year, and who have 10 years or more service in the profession of education of the deaf. School or program membership in CEASD at the time of retirement is required.

To Whom Awarded: An award given to superintendents or CEOs of programs for the
deaf, retired from the administrative position since the previous meeting, or who will
retire prior to the end of the current school year and who have 10 years or more service
in the professional education of the deaf; membership in CEASD at the time of
retirement is required.
Procedure: The National CEASD Office will send out notices in the Newsletter or in a
separate mailing and with convention materials that these citations are available. The
Awards Committee will submit names to the National Office.
When Presented: Annually as earned or at any meeting of CEASD.
